100 Days: Day Four ~ Overcomer

Obstacles...hurdles...roadblocks. No matter how much we plan, we cannot control everything in life. There are days when it seems like life throws everything it has at you and you feel like you are sinking. But when you leap over those hurdles, face those obstacles and demolish those roadblocks, you are an overcomer. Today, I am an overcomer!

I didn't give in to my hectic schedule, the yucky weather that slowed us down, and chose not to give in to my exhaustion. And I am glad I didn't. My workout wasn't a long one today, but it was enough to get my blood flowing and my adrenaline up!

Thanks to Pinterest (yes, I admit it. I am a Pinterest junkie!), I found this great leg workout. It was quick and if you do it a couple of times, you get a really good lower body workout.

This morning for breakfast, I had a kale, celery, apple, lemon juice that was really great. I felt satisfied and energized as well.

I've learned in these four days, that I have to move out of my comfort zone and push myself past my own limits both mentally and physically. I can come up with so many excuses as to why I don't have time to exercise. But when it boils down to it, I've been given this one body...that's it. And if I don't take care of it, I will miss out on so much in life. So, I will continue on this journey even when I don't feel like it, because I know in the end, I will be an even better me. ;)
